Malta’s own Victor Galea proudly represented the country and the Team Noel Fight and Fitness Club. He stepped into the ring on Saturday, November 22nd, for the International Sport Karate and Kickboxing Association (ISKA) competition.
The intense main event saw Victor go head-to-head against Halal Hijazi, a highly respected and tough competitor from the UK. Even with such a powerful challenge at hand, Victor responded flawlessly. Executing every move with the poise and discipline, he showed the same skills that already establish him as a talent Malta is proud of.
Victor’s exceptional skill did not go unnoticed. Already widely considered a prodigy in the sport, ISKA officials approached Victor Galea to offer him the chance to defend the ISKA Amateur European Title. His dominating performance on Saturday confirmed his world-class ability. It also signals to everyone that he is only set to climb higher and excel further.

Behind every great champion is a powerhouse team, and this is no exception. The dedicated support system that travels with him fuels his fantastic results. His father Redent Galea, Mariana, Joesam Azzopardi, and his expert cutman and coach Ryan Cachia all backed Victor, directly contributing to his remarkable success in the ring.

Victor Galea continues to show that his contributions to the sport aren’t just about participation. He is actively reshaping and elevating the standard of competition in Malta for future generations of fighters.
