The final round of matches from the opening phase of 360 Sports Malta Premier Opening Round provided drama to all the fans present as Ħamrun Spartans netted a last-gasp goal to overcome Gżira United 2-1 and reach the Top Six. Here is a roundup of all the action from Matchday 11 by SportsDesk.

At the Tony Bezzina Stadium, Marsaxlokk looked on their way when Quitongo put them ahead but the Paolites earned a point courtesy of a Federico Falcone late goal.
Gżira United FC (1 – 2) Ħamrun Spartans FC
Gżira United looked on their way to take a Top Six spot when Alex Alves put the ahead midway through the second half.
But Spartans refused to throw in the towel when Daniel Letherby equalised on 86 minutes and when it looked as though the match would end in a draw, Emerson Marcelina popped up to head home the winner in the 95th minute.
Sliema Wanderers FC (3 – 0) Naxxar Lions FC
Sliema Wanderers proved too strong for Naxxar Lions to clinch a 3 nil win.
Wescley put the Blues ahead before goals by Vito Plut and Jonata wrapped up a comfortable victory.
Birkirkara FC (1 – 3) Floriana FC
Floriana produced an eye-catching display when they brushed aside leaders Birkirkara.
Carlo Zammit Leonardelli marked his return with a bang when netting a brace with the other goal coming from Guy Yameogo.
Agustin Sandona had temporarily equalised for Birkirkara.
Mosta FC (2 – 2) Balzan FC
Mosta and Balzan took a point each following a 2-2 draw.
Henry Stanic and Udo Akpan were on the mark for Balzan with Sascha Cachia and Joshua Agyemang netting the goals for Mosta.
Żabbar St. Patrick FC (1 – 3) Melita FC
Melita clinched a 3-1 win over fellow newly-promoted side Żabbar SP 3-1.
Goals from Andre Penha Da Costa, Karl Mohnani and Matthew Debattista. Brian Gambarte had temporarily given Żabbar the lead after 14 minutes from a penalty.
