Birkirkara sole leaders and Sliema, Ħamrun drop points!
Birkirkara took sole leadership after Matchday 5 of the 360 Sports Malta Premier while Sliema Wanderers and Ħamrun Spartans both dropped points.
Marsaxlokk remained as the only side in the top-flight without a point after suffering their fifth successive defeat against Mosta who collected their second successive win.

Gżira United FC (2 – 2) Sliema Wanderers FC
Sliema Wanderers looked set to move level with Birkirkara but conceded a last-gasp equaliser to settle for a 2-2 draw against neighbouring rivals Gżira United.
The Wanderers looked on their way to secure another win as two goals from Vito Plut handed them a 2-1 lead over Gżira United.
But the Maroons showed a lot of spirit to twice claw the match back through a penalty from Gabriel Bohrer and a last-gasp striker from Luis Riascos.
Birkirkara FC (3 – 0) Melita FC
Birkirkara are the most in-form side of the division when on Monday they brushed aside Melita 3-0.
Maxuell Maia was again at the heart of the Stripes’ victory when converting two penalties with the other goal coming from Ignacio Morello as they moved two points clear at the top.
Marsaxlokk FC (2 – 4) Mosta FC
Mosta came from behind to hand Marsaxlokk a fifth successive defeat following a 4-2 win.
The Southerners looked on their way when taking a 2-1 lead following goals by De Aguiar and Quitongo.
But Mosta fought back and goals by Afriyie, Luca and a Clayton Failla penalty sealed their second successive win.
Żabbar St. Patrick FC (3 – 3) Naxxar Lions FC
Edson Farias put Naxxar in charge early on with a brace but Żabbar fought back and thought they won it with three goals from Diogo Tavares (2) and Sean Gatt.
But the match had a dramatic ending as Żabbar had Strahinja Jovincic dismissed before conceded a third goal following a controversial penalty converted by Caxambu.
Floriana FC (1 – 1) Hibernians FC
Floriana and Hibernians took a point each following a 1-1 draw.
Franklin Sasere scored a spectacular opener to give the Greens a deserved lead.
But after the break, Floriana had Oualid El Hasni dismissed and Hibs grabbed the equaliser on 91 minutes courtesy of an Alex Bruno strike.
Hibs also ended the match with ten men as higor Gabriel was shown the red card for a second booking.
Balzan FC (1 – 1) Ħamrun Sparta FC
Ħamrun Spartans were made to pay for their profligacy in front of goal when they were held to a 1-1 draw by ten-men Balzan.
Raphael Lopes Silva gave the Malta champions a deserved lead but they failed to add a second goal.
Balzan fought back after the break and levelled matters through a penalty from Udo Akpan.
Sixteen minutes from times, Balzan were reduced to ten men when Stanic was dismissed for two quick yellow cards.
But the Spartans could not make their numerical advantage count and had to settle with a point.
