For men, the age group with the highest likelihood of cheating is between 70 and 79 years old, where approximately 26% of men in this age range have admitted to infidelity.
This trend is consistent with findings that suggest men’s tendency to cheat increases with age, peaking in their late 70s.
For women, the highest rate of infidelity occurs a bit earlier, in their 60s, with around 16% admitting to cheating. This rate tends to decrease as women age further, dropping to 13% in their 70s and 6% in their 80s.
These statistics indicate that while both men and women are likely to cheat as they age, men maintain higher rates of infidelity into older age compared to women, whose likelihood of cheating decreases after their 60s
