Just 50 days to go for the FIFA World Cup 2022

The excitement is building up for the much awaited FIFA World Cup.

The first match of the tournament is set to kick off on 20 November, and the final is scheduled for 18 December.

Because of excessive summer temperatures in Qatar, this year’s World Cup will be the first to be held in winter rather than summer.

It is only the second time that the tournament will be hosted in Asia, and the first in Middle East.

The 22nd edition of FIFA’s World Cup will begin with 32 teams in eight groups of four:

Brazil, England and France are among the favourites winner odds for the tournament this winter.

One of Malta’s most popular team, Italy had failed to qualify for the World Cup for 2nd successive time.
