Toco, a Japanese man turned viral over the past few days as he literally became a dog.
No I am not kidding!
He did this by spending 2 million yen on a custom border collie costume.
He collaborated with Zeppet, a company that specialise in creating body suits and 3d models.
Zeppet took around 40 days to create the costume.
During a recent interview, he said he was desperate for a change and his dream came true.
He was in awe of his followers’ love and support and felt understood by the public.
Toco also said he received messages from people wanting to follow in his footsteps.
The New York Times reported that some psychologists believe that Toco belongs to a specific group called Therians.
Therians are people that identify themselves as animals.
Dr Elizabeth Fein a psychologist from Pittsburgh Duquesne University stressed that Therians cannot be confused with furry people.
Furries are people who cosplay as animals.
