Love Island Malta is the largest TV production in Malta to date and it will take place on TVM starting from 14th May 2023.
The show will be starting off with 5 couples with multiple bombshells coming along.
With over 380 applications received only 20 will be chosen, but there can only be one winning couple taking home €20,000!
Despite knowing that Chucky Bartolo is the narrator of the show and Yazmin Helledie is the host… I’m sure you still have plenty of other questions waiting to be answered.
Well look no further!
Just in case you missed it, here is a breakdown of what went down during the Instagram Live with Love Island Malta’s producers Martina Zammit and Ben Camille.
Is The Villa In Malta ?
Yes it is!
Location will stay a secret but it is 100% in Malta
However, some hints were dropped.
We now know it has a mind-blowing gym, the outdoor kitchen is massive with a pizza oven, a makeup room to die for and the bedroom of course.
Will The Show Be In Maltese ?
Yes it will be!
Everything will be in Maltese including the narrator and host.
There are some foreigners, and some of the contestants might speak in English but it is mainly in Maltese.
Will The Islanders Be Announced Before The Show ?
Yes again!
They will be announced just a few days before the show starts.
The producers said that the participants will be ‘hidden away’ in a hotel a few days before to not meet each other from before.
Will There Be A Hideaway?
Yes there will be a hideaway … and it’s red.
What Challenges Will The Show Have?
We will see a lot of already well known challenges but the producers mentioned that there will even be some new ones!
Although they did say that The Heart Rate challenge is their favourite so it just might make an appearance.
When Will It Broadcasted ?
The show will be broadcasted on TVM from Monday to Sunday but not on Fridays.
Are The Islanders Famous ?
Sort of.
A lot of different people have applied for the show.
The producers explained that Love Island Malta wants to help people find love AND to help launch their career.
But many of them are new.
Can Their Family Control The Love Islanders Phone?
Yes, although many other countries don’t usually do this, Love Island Malta will allow the family members to post on the Islanders social media accounts.
What About Casa Amor ?
No, there won’t be a Casa Amor BUT there will be a twist to it.
The producers said there will be a local twist to Casa Amor!
Will the show have LGBT couples?
Maybe, you just have to tune in and see.
