ASA Celebrates Incredible Victories From GSSE Competition

As official partners, Vibe FM is proud to announce the most recent medals the Aquatic Sports Association (ASA) swimmers just won in the GSSE competition! 

Yesterday marked the first day of the GSSE swimming competition and the ASA swimmers were on fire!

Here’s the rundown of all the medals won yesterday.

Victoria Balderacchi won a bronze medal in the women’s 200m backstroke final. While Thomas Wareing won a bronze medal in the men’s 200m backstroke final. Dylan Cachia also won a bronze medal in the men’s 800m freestyle final. 

Sasha Gatt won a silver medal in the women’s 800m freestyle final and Sarah Demicoli won a silver medal in the women’s 200m butterfly final.

Matthew Galea, Kyle Micallef, Rudi Spiteri, and Raoul Stafrace won a gold medal in the men’s 4 X 100m freestyle! 

Two new national records were set for Thomas Wareing in the men’s 200m backstroke and for Dylan Cachia in the men’s 800m freestyle!

A big congratulations to all those who participated! Everyone did a wonderful job and should be proud of the work they did!
