Most celebrities befriend one another during a movie set, an awards show or a talk show.
Some however run into each other in their own backyard of their luxurious mansion or apartment.
Here are some celebrities who you may or may not know are neighbours…
Harry Styles, Sam Smith, and Boy George.
Harry Styles bought his third UK house in February of last year for a whopping £4.2 million.
It is located in Hampstead North London and Sam Smith happens to own a flat at that same location.
The Culture Club frontman Boy George also lives there just a few metres away from the two British powerhouse singers.
Meryl Streep and Gwyneth Paltrow.
The A-list actors both live in downtown Manhattan on a street called Tribeca.
They both invite each other on a regular basis to catch up with one another.
On one occasion, Paltrow allowed Meryl to use her kitchen to cook for Thanksgiving.
This was because Meryl’s oven was so bad, and took over 10 hours to simply cook a turkey.
Katy Perry and Adele.
Imagine living next door to two of the most influential female singers of our generation, I would be jealous.
In a radio interview on Hits Radio Breakfast, Katy revealed that her next-door neighbour at Beverly Hills is none other than Adele.
During the interview, she said that she had known Adele for quite some time and often hang out together.
Gordon Ramsay and Stevie Wonder.
The two musical and cooking legends reside in Bel Air Los Angeles.
Gordon on the grill and Stevie on the mic at either one of their houses is dinner of the stuff of dreams.
Kendall Jenner and Jimmy Kimmel.
The late-night show host and American model also live in Los Angeles but at Sunset Boulevard.
Both revealed the secret when Kendall appeared on Kimmel’s own show Jimmy Kimmel live.
Kendall said that she feels safer with Jimmy being her neighbour which makes this unlikely connection adorable.
Ant McPatlin and Dec Donnelly.
The inseparable duo are known for hosting a variety of UK shows such as I’m a Celebrity Get me Out of Here, Saturday Night Takeaway, and Britain’s Got Talent.
They also happen to be neighbours in Chiswick located in West London.
If that wasn’t enough, they recently bought two side-to-side villas on the coastline Algarve in Portugal.
