This year, the Valletta Cultural Agency is not only celebrating the joy of Christmas but also emphasising a message of peace.
They will also be bringing back lost traditions, such as the Baby Jesus procession happening on December 22nd.
The procession will be departing from Our Lady of Victory Church at 6PM and concluding at Triton Square after passing through Zachary Street, Republic Street, and St John Square.
It will also feature a special message from Archbishop Charles J. Scicluna!
For a visually stunning experience, Christmas Projections will illuminate St George’s Square starting from December 4th at 6PM.
Adding to the holiday charm, stilt walkers and street animators will animate Valletta’s streets on December 2nd, 9th, 10th, 16th, 17th, 23rd, and 24th between 11AM and 1PM.
On December 8th and 12th, street performers will grace the city from 5:30PM to 8:30PM.
The festivities reach their peak during the Valletta National New Year’s Eve celebrations, featuring a breathtaking fireworks display over the Grand Harbour as we bid farewell to the old year and welcome 2024 in style!
