Teen Movies remind us of our own teenage years.
We literally used to use teen movies as a guide book, but little did we know that a whole lot of change was headed our way.
Puberty, our first crush (probably unrequited, let’s be honest), hormones, new friends, and overwhelming angst.
Every single thing that happened felt like literal life or death.
We realised pretty quickly that real life is very different than the movies.
Although some of us are still waiting for their crush to stand on their lawn and serenade them while holding a boombox.
Watching these teen romance movies today can be delightfully nostalgic and heartwarming.
I mean, we all need a way to escape from reality right?
These movies might be totally lame and unrealistic but once upon a time, these films were your pick-me-up after a bad day at school.
I’ll also be throwing in some newbies to the mix, just in case you’re sick and tired of seeing clueless for the 10th time (still questioning their relationship to this day) .
