Music, sustainability, and community power are this summer’s biggest cultural ride.
🎶 A Stage That Moves and Runs on Clean Energy
GO has just launched lVANt, Malta’s first fully electric, battery-powered mobile stage. This isn’t just a summer event truck, it’s a cultural movement on wheels, bringing live music and performances to towns along the island’s eastern coast, all while running entirely on clean energy.
The lVANt project kicked off at GO’s headquarters in Żejtun with a live performance and is now heading to Mercury Towers on July 18th, followed by stops at Madliena, Lija, Swieqi, and other local hotspots until August 14th.
⚡ What Is lVANt?
Imagine a festival stage that doesn’t need a noisy generator, just clean, quiet, battery-powered energy. That’s lVANt. It’s fully equipped with:
-
Smart battery systems
-
A clean-energy generator
-
Wireless connectivity powered by GO
This means zero emissions, no engine noise, and 100% eco-conscious entertainment.
GO + Culture + Clean Energy = Big Summer Energy
“lVANt brings people together through the universal language of music, and GO is proud to power that, with technology and purpose,” said Mandy Calleja, Head of Corporate Comms at GO.
The message is clear: GO isn’t just connecting homes and phones anymore. They’re helping power Malta’s green transition by literally taking culture to the streets in style.
The project was originally conceptualised last year during the Eastern Regional Council’s tenure as Region of Culture, and after its huge success, it’s back stronger, greener, and louder (in a good way).
Anthony Chircop, President of the Eastern Regional Council, said, “This is a legacy project, and we’re proud to bring it back. With the help of our sponsors like GO, we’re making sure the arts are for everyone, right in the heart of our communities.”
Where’s lVANt going next?
Keep your eyes (and ears) open, lVANt could be rolling up to your neighbourhood next. Follow GO and the Eastern Regional Council on social media for dates, artist lineups, and all the stage-side buzz.
Why you should care (even if you’re just here for the music):
-
It’s zero-emission entertainment. 🌍
-
It supports both upcoming and established Maltese artists. 🎤
-
It’s bringing energy-conscious fun to your doorstep. 🚐
-
It’s proof that tech and art can work together for the planet 💡
GO just dropped a fully electric mobile stage; it’s touring Malta, and it’s here to shake up the way we do summer — with music, community, and sustainability at the core.
