For the first time ever, the Legends: Padel Malta Cup is taking place in Malta
It all happens between the 19th and 21st of May at the IK Padel Village in Pembroke.
This weekend of intense padel action promises to bring together Football Legends and World Cup Winners from clubs like Juventus, Milan, Inter and Roma and local Padel players.
The star studded lineup of football legends includes Christian Vieri, Albertini, Candela, Dida, Di Biagio, Serginho, Ventola and Zambrotta, and more!
We can’t wait to watch them go head-to-head and to see who will take home the cup!
Taking place on May 19th, the weekend will begin with a charity gala dinner. All legends will be in attendance, meeting guests, dining with them, and even auctioning off signed t-shirts from their iconic football days. All proceeds from the Gala dinner will be in aid of Puttinu Cares.
The padel action all starts on Saturday morning with a full day of matches at the padel courts in a specially setup event village.
Maltese players will also go head-to-head against each other as will the Legends.
This will help determine who the finalists will be for the legends vs players face-off.
Players will return to the court on Sunday for exhibition matches, as well as the highly anticipated final.
Here we will see the final Legends Team up against the final Maltese Team.
It all looks like it’s going to be a big weekend that will keep padel and football enthusiasts entertained throughout.
