DON’T USE YOUR PHONE!!!!!!
This first one is obvious but, is it?
We get it okay, not using your phone can sometimes be hard, because what if your friend calls ?
Let us let you in on a secret, your buddy Steve can wait but your date can’t.
I mean look at these two, do they look like they’re having fun? No they’re not.
These two, however, are having a blast. Look how cute!
So forget about your phone and only take it out for a picture.
Don’t be awkward
It’s your first date, it went well, but you have no idea how to end it.
Do you go in for a kiss? a hug? well sure but definitely DO NOT end it with a handshake.
You can barely look at this image can you, look at the awkwardness in that handshake…
…and the awkward smiles, simply horrible.
Don’t ask super personal questions
A first date is a great way to get to know a person.
Here is a list of things you can ask : what their favourite colour is, if they have any pets or what their hobbies are.
Here is a list of things you SHOULD NEVER ask : what their salary is and if they regret having kids.
No Friends
We all know how great your friends are, but they do not need to be there on your date.
This is you chance to get to know someone intimately, and your friends will ruin that.
Don’t lie.
Nobody likes to be lied to do they…
And trust us, we’ll know you’re lying.
Whether it is about your job… or about the fact that you’re dating someone else… just don’t.
Just look at her face… she knows.
Sharing is caring
Manners are important!
Don’t forget about your date, ask them what they want to order or if they want to share.
Never ever order just for yourself.
If you’re at the cinema get popcorn for the both of you.
At a restaurant? share that bottle of wine you ordered.
Don’t have a buzzcut
Okay just kidding but if ykyk .
Learn to listen
It’s not all about you and what you love, listen to your date they have interests too!
