Kevin James recently recalled his days on King of Queens.
King of Queens was an American sitcom Kevin starred in and is a spinoff of Everybody Loves Raymond.
It is set in Rego Park Queens in New York City and focuses on a working class couple and the wife’s father.
James played the role of husband and deliveryman Doug Heffernan.
The sitcom ran on CBS for 9 seasons and 207 episodes between 1998 and 2007.
During an interview on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Kevin broke down the show’s photoshoot.
The photoshoot featured James’ photo that has now become a meme sensation despite others making it viral.
He posed by adopting a casual stance alongside a smirk.
The pose instantly became a factory of ideas for online creators who quickly took advantage.
The comedic actor said that the genius behind the photo wasn’t himself but the photographer responsible for the shoot.
During his discussion with Fallon, the photographer told Kevin to do silly things.
Whether it is smiling, shy or pretending he’s attractive, he automatically posed the pose everyone knows about.
The actor was not too keen on the photos that saw the light of day in the public eye.
He even reassured the photographer not to release some of the photos including the one that’s now a meme.
Although the latter promised to keep them shelved, he did not keep that promise long after he had made it.
Despite thinking about the photo as stupid for the way it has resurfaced online, he laughed at some of the many memes that were posted.
He also said that whilst one is happy on set, it is imperative to listen to everyone when involved in a sitcom
