The 67th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest is set to take place in the United Kingdom, after Ukraine, the winner of the 2022 edition was unable to meet the demands.
BBC and the European Broadcasting Union have finally announced the host city in the United Kingdom for May 2023.
Liverpool was chosen from seven shortlisted cities which were Birmingham, Glasgow, Leeds, Liverpool, Manchester, Newcastle and Sheffield.
Eurovision was exploring the seven locations in the last weeks, they invited the potential host cities to showcase the best of what they have to offer.
All applicants demonstrated how they would reflect Ukrainian culture.
Music and communities will mark the fact that Ukraine is the winner of this year’s Eurovision Song Contest.
