Torch Travels from Gozo to Cospicua in the Spectacular Malta School Games Journey
The Malta School Games continue to bring excitement! On Thursday, 10th April, marked the official launch of Wiżu, the event’s official mascot. Wizu represents energy, teamwork, and the spirit of the games.
A Journey of Unity
The Games’ torch made an inspiring journey, starting from Gozo College and travelling to Santa Margerita College. It then arrived in Cospicua in a thrilling display—by regatta boats. The arrival was a special moment, celebrating sportsmanship and tradition.
A Celebration of Movement
After reaching Cospicua, students took part in a relay around the Cospicua creek. The energy continued with vibrant dance performances by Santa Margerita College students. Their performances showcased creativity, rhythm, and enthusiasm, adding to the event’s lively atmosphere.
These Games keep growing, bringing students together in the spirit of sports and celebration. With Wiżu now part of the journey, the excitement is only just beginning!
