It is becoming increasingly common to see Open Mic and Stand Up Comedy Nights happening all over Malta.
Some comedians have become household names in their own right!
Their jokes going viral and also (sometimes maybe unintentioanlly) making news headlines!
Most of these gigs tend to happen in bars or lounges and very rarely enjoy a theatre setting.

Nikolai Azzopardi Productions have just announced Comedy Kingdom!
The island’s most exciting stand up talent is heading to Junior College Theatre stage this May!
With the likes of Andrew John Sciberras, Daniel Diacono, Ed Vassallo and the man of the moment, James Ryder, headlining its bound to be a belly of laughs!
It will all be hosted by the absolutely unpredictable Dan Xuereb.
Now you are probably thinking you love the theatre idea but are going to miss the bar!

The bar will be open and serving drinks for a full hour before the show starts and will stay open after the show ends till 11.30pm.
Because comedy and a pint go together like peanut butter and jelly!
