Malta will have its first ever tattoo based challenge TV show!
Malta’s Ultimate Tattoo Challenge will hit local television this upcoming January on ONE, aiming to change the way locals view Tattoos.
It is a big step for the local tattoo industry, as tattoo artist can finally show their talent on the screen.
The judges for the show are well known tattoo artists Dylan Agius (The Mad Tatter), Etienne Buttigieg (Tetinu) and Christopher Ormond (Kri8or).

The show will be co-hosted by Luke Magro and Denise Gafa!

There will also be a panel of local celebrities to give their opinion.
This includes chefs Daniel Borg Cardona and Sean Gravina as well as tattoo artist Annabelle Calafato from Skin Label.
The winner of the show will win a cash prize of €5,000 and will represent Malta in one of the most prestigious tattoo conventions in Europe next year!
The show will have 6 stages spread over 12 episodes.
During the auditions the artists will be presenting their portfolio.
Later it will narrow down to 18 applicants who will do a freehand challenge on paper.
The final will see the 2 remaining artists competing against each other on a human canvas using their preferred style.
