Safergrounds: A Hilarious, Satirical Spin on Queer Life in a Dystopian ‘Safe Haven’ – Live at Theatre Next Door!
Get ready for a wild ride with Safergrounds, a fresh and ironic take on a near-future world where queer people are stuck in a so-called “Safe Haven.”

Created by Busli (two MCAST performing arts grads), this play was inspired by the need for more authentic representation of queer youth in the arts.

It flips the script on tokenism, bringing real, relatable stories with a side of humour.
No tragic queer narratives here—just raw, real experiences and some much-needed fun.
Catch Safergrounds at Theatre Next Door on September 20, 21, and 22. Plus, don’t miss “1×1” by Chewing Productions, happening the weekend after at the same venue!
