Friends will always be one of the all time greats.
From classic pick up lines, to hilariously awkward situations, the Friends characters have given us plenty of memorable moments.
The show aired for ten seasons between 1994 and 2004.
Somebody went through the entire 235 episodes to take note of how many partners the different characters had over the entire show run and these are the results.
#1 – Joey
Hardly surprising but the man behind one of the best pickup lines (“How you doin'”) ever tops the list.
Frank from The Drive Vibe still uses that line!
Over the ten seasons of the show the character played by Matt Le Blanc had 17 love interests.
We have seen time and time again the lengths he would go to in order to impress and increase his body count.
#2 – Ross and Phoebe
These two characters are in joint second place, which is a bit of a surprise.
The Palaeontologist and the singer of “Smelly Cat” both had 16 partners each.
Half of Ross’s conquests turned into long term relationships, he even got the Friends clan to travel to London for a wedding remember?
#3 – Rachel
It all started with her getting cold feet on her wedding day in the very first episode.
The beauty played by Jennifer Aniston had 14 partners, one of which was of course Ross with whom she had a baby.
Remember the episode when her real life partner at the time (Brad Pitt) made an appearance?
#4 – Monica
One of the most memorable moments across the entire series is Monica realising her very first kiss was her own brother Ross!
Over the entire ten seasons she had 13 partners including one that became a fan favourite played by Tom Selleck.
She would of course eventually settle and get married to Chandler.
#5 – Chandler
He will probably say being Joey’s room mate did not help.
The truth is even though he only had 9 partners across the entire run his relationships are some of the most memorable.
