Whether you’re going to your first concert or your tenth, it is important to have good concert etiquette.
Especially since some people have clearly forgotten how to act at a concert! Read more about that here.
Don’t Throw Things On Stage
This one is pretty self-explanatory.
Practice Good Hygiene Before The Concert
It’s probably going to get pretty hot in the crowd so make sure you apply extra deodorant before the event.
Hydrate Beforehand
Make sure you enter the concert well hydrated and having eaten something prior.
This way you’re less likely to faint or feel sick and won’t miss any part of the show.
Don’t Hold Your Phone Up The Whole Time
Recording small bits of the concert is perfectly fine but try not to block the view of those behind you.
Try not to hold your phone above your head for too long, no one wants to watch the concert through your phone screen!
Switch Off Your Flash
When taking photos or videos switch the flash off.
It can be distracting for those around you and even the performers.
Dress Appropriately
While you may want to look stylish, make sure your outfit is still comfortable and weather appropriate.
You’ll enjoy the show much more if you’re feeling comfortable.
Don’t Trash The Venue
When you leave, try not to leave any trash or belongings behind.
Be Respectful Of The Performers
Even if it’s an opener or someone you aren’t interested in seeing, try to be respectful and cheer them on.
Be Respectful Of Fellow Concert Goers
Don’t push or shove anyone in the crowd and if possible don’t squish up against them too much.
