“Sports Unity”: Uniting Football Fans for a Good Cause
“Sports Unity” is a new effort by Ħamrun Ħanin to bring Maltese football clubs together for social causes.
The idea is to use the passion of football fans to build a stronger sense of community.
To start, Sports Unity has organised a blood donation drive with the National Blood Transfusion Service.
This drive will happen on the first day of the Maltese Premier League, urging fans from all teams to give blood.
Their first big project is raising money for cancer research with the University of Malta’s RIDT.
On November 8th, they will host a special event to get the entire football community involved.
Through teamwork, this initiative hopes to turn football into a powerful force for positive change in Malta.
