Starlites Naxxar Set to Make History in FIBA Europe Cup After 32 Years!

For the first time in 32 years, a Maltese team will compete in a European basketball competition, Starlites Naxxar is set to take on the FIBA Europe Cup 2024 Qualifiers.

This marks a significant milestone for the sport in Malta, with the last participation dating back to 1992.

The Starlites will face Anorthosis Famagusta from Cyprus in a home-and-away series.

The first leg is scheduled for Tuesday, 24th September 2024, at 8pm at the MBA Pavilion in Ta’ Qali, Malta, while the return leg will take place in Cyprus on September 27, 2024.
