The Grammy winners have been announced

Whilst Malta was asleep, the Grammy Awards took place at the Crypto.Com Arena in Los Angeles California.

Hosted by Trevor Noah, the ceremony is hailed as the year’s biggest night of music.

Beyonce stole the headlines as she made history in becoming the most decorated artist in history.

She took home four awards of the night for her electronic/dance album “Renaissance”.

Queen Bey has now won 32 Grammys surpassing Hungarian-British conductor George Solti, breaking a 26 year old record.

Funnily enough she missed the first few minutes of the ceremony as she was stuck in gridlock traffic.

The Grammys was a night where British Artists triumphed.

Harry Styles won the big award of the night with Best Album of the Year for “Harry’s House”, beating Beyonce and Adele in the process.

He also won Best Pop Album early on for the same album.

She follows Wendy Carlos who won in 1969.

The surprise of the night went to Bonnie Raitt as she won song of the year .

Her powerful ballad “Just Like That” was enough to beat heavy favorites Taylor Swift and Beyonce.

Lizzo won record of the year with “About Damn Time” and dedicated the award to the great musician Prince.

Kendrick Lamar took home 3 awards in the rap category on a night where Hip Hop celebrated its 50th anniversary.

He won Best Rap Album for “Mr Morale and Big Steppers” which he said it was one of the toughest he produced.

His single “The Heart Part 5” won him Best Rap Song and Rap Performance.

Artists like Bad Bunny, Jack Harlow, Taylor Swift and even Harry Styles where a few of the many that took the stage.
