Malta’s biggest classic car event returns with roaring engines, scenic circuits, and vintage charm from 23–26 October.
Start your engines! The Mdina Grand Prix is back for its 15th edition this 23rd to 26th October 2025. It’s one of Malta’s most exciting motor events—and it’s fuelled by heritage, horsepower, and heart-racing action.
The adrenaline starts on Thursday 23rd October with the Mtahleb Hill Climb. Drivers will face steep, twisting roads as they race against gravity. It’s a raw test of speed and power.
On Friday, the pace slows down with a classic car showcase. Dozens of vintage vehicles will be on display in all their polished glory. It’s the perfect day for car lovers, photographers, and anyone who loves timeless design.
Then the real racing begins. On Saturday 25th October, drivers take on a technical track just outside Mdina. Expect tight bends, flowing curves, and roads lined with vineyards and stone terraces. The day ends with timed laps to decide Sunday’s starting order.
Sunday 26th October is all about the main event—the Mdina Grand Prix. Drivers go head-to-head in an all-out race packed with overtakes, corner battles, and full-throttle moments. With the historic Mdina skyline in the background, this race is a true Maltese motorsport icon.
Last Year’s Winner:
In 2024, Gordon Vella took the crown at the Mdina Grand Prix, driving a Pre-War Austin 7 Ulster to victory on corrected time. Will he defend the title this year? Only time (and speed) will tell.
