Last weekend marked Coachella’s return.
This festival takes place yearly over two weekends in April at the Empire Polo Club in California.
It is one of the biggest festivals on the music calendar with thousands in attendance and many artists performing.
The festival is also live streaming on Youtube.
The first day saw The Weeknd, Metro Boomin and Gorillaz take centre stage.
Bad Bunny, the first Latino artist to perform at the festival stole the show.
His performance was a non-stop spectacle.
He even asked the crowd to speak in English or Spanish with the crowd roaring the latter.
Post Malone also appeared with Bunny but experienced audio issues throughout.
BlackPink, a Korean pop girl band delivered a bombastic performance on the second day.
Their first headline act at the festival saw pyrotechnics and even synchronised drones.
A last-minute change saw Blink 182 perform for the first time since their guitarist Tom DeLonge returned.
They did not disappoint and kept their teenage energy high whilst performing some of their most memorable hits.
Some of the songs were “What’s My Age Again?”, “All The Small Things” and “I Miss You.”
Frank Ocean was the talk on everyone’s lips on the third day.
This was his first live performance in six years.
There was however controversy over his performance as it was not live-streamed on Youtube.
That did not stop people from posting large chunks of clips on TikTok.
Coachella is known for its surprise guest appearances and this year is no different.
Labyrinth brought out Billie Eilish for his performance whilst Charli XCX sang with Troye Sivan.
Tyler The Creator also joined forces with Kali Uchis.
The Kardashians were the talk of the town off-stage.
Kourtney Kardashian supported her husband Travis Barker, Blink 182’s drummer.
Kendall Jenner flirted with Bad Bunny as both were spotted in a mosh pit inside the festival.
Her sister Kylie is heavily rumoured to be dating Timothee Chalamet.
Speculation heated up that they would make the news public at the festival, but Timothee was nowhere to be seen.
Camilla Cabello and Shawn Mendes, who broke up two years ago, sent social media into a frenzy as they kissed together.
The festival is also infamous for its high ticket and food prices.
A video created by Jackie Tanti, a Tik Tok user, describes the matter.
In the video, she says two coffees and burrito sandwiches cost around $64, equivalent to €58!
One-day tickets cost around €500 with VIP tickets almost twice as much.
Coachella continues next weekend.
