The 57th edition of the SuperBowl took place at the State Farm Stadium located in Glendale Arizona.
The SuperBowl is the final of the NFL season that has been taking place every year since 1966.
It is one of the most watched sporting events in the world with millions tuning in to watch it.
The USA in fact declares the day as “Super Bowl Sunday” and the entire country stops to witness the event including the president.
This year saw the Philadelphia Eagles battle out the Kansas City Chiefs and it did not dissapoint in the slightest.
The Chiefs came out victorious as they defeated the Eagles by 38-35, a very marginal score.
The Eagles dominated most of the first half with Jalen Hurts their quarterback pulling off a sensational performance.
Patrick Mahomes the Chiefs’ star player appeared to have a serious anke injury and by half time he limbed off to the locker room.
He recovered from his injury and produced a man of the match performance in the second half where the game swung in favour of the Chiefs.
Mahomes scored four consecutive touchdowns whilst Harrison Butker scored the winning field goal with just eight seconds remaining.
This was the Chiefs’ third superbowl title and their second in the last four years.
Rihannia performed the traditional 15 minute halftime show, which was her first solo performance in seven years.
The singer rolled back the years and performed many of her signature hits such as “Diamonds”, “Umbrella”, and “We Found Love.”
She also revealed that she was pregnant with her second child.
The Super Bowl is also known for its commercials with many high profile celebrities involved.

Ben Affleck was involved in a commercial for Dunkin Donuts where he surprises many drive thru customers.
One of them was his wife Jennifer Lopez.
Comedy legends Steve Martin and Ben Stiller starred in a Pepsi commercial where they displayed their comedic chops.
