Teen TV Shows helps us throughout our own teenage years.
Although Teen TV Shows can be unrealistic, they’re super fun to watch!
They’re so fun, you can even watch them once you’re an adult trying to get away from responsibilities…
…Or for the sake of nostalgia.
Boy Meets World
The show follows 11 year old Cory Matthews up until the end of his teenage years.
We see the protagonist and his friends and family face different life challenges but let’s be real, we only ever watched it to see if he and Topanga end up together in the end.
A show that is full of life lessons, making it a wholesome watch.
And if you’re curious about their later life, give Girl Meets World a watch!
That’s So Raven
My personal favourite.
That’s So Raven follows the life of Raven Baxter and her psychic abilities.
Disney also produced a spin-off titled Cory In The House, following the life of her brother.
In 2016, another spin-off called Raven’s Home follows Raven and Chelsea as divorced mothers raising their children together.
And just in case you’re wondering, yes, one of Raven’s kids has psychic abilities also!
Whether you watch the spin-off or not, That’s So Raven will always be a must watch for teens.
Lizzie McGuire
This TV show literally only has 2 seasons with 30+ episodes each!
That blows my mind.
This show is a total gem as it follows 13 year old Lizzie and we get to see her find herself and face the struggles of adolescence.
As Told By Ginger
Aside from the theme song being a banger, this show was everything!
We see Ginger together with her friends solve the conflicts they face.
Sister, Sister
A true 90’s classic.
Tia and Tamera play identical sisters who were raised separately by single adoptive parents and are reunited as teenagers.
Derry Girls
Rewatching this for the *checks notes* 637267263th time and I’ll never get enough of this show.
Derry Girls follows 4 teenage Irish girls and 1 wee English fella trying to live their best lives while some seriously dangerous and distressing political conflict wages in the background.
Heartstopper
This story is for all the shy queer teens.
This is the story about Charlie and Nick… and all their friends and family.
This show will warm your heart because there is nothing like young romance and openly thriving LGBTQ+ teens.
Gilmore Girls
If you haven’t watched this, what are you waiting for?
For anyone who has, Stars Hollow holds a special place in your heart.
There is nothing like following the life of Rory and her mother Lorelai Gilmore as they navigate their life together.
Daria
Daria was animated, but that didn’t make her problems any less real.
And we can all agree that High School was a real pain right?
