We’re on the 3rd week of everybody’s favourite TV show Love Island Malta.
I think we can all agree that this week’s episodes of Love Island Malta were a rollercoaster for all of us.
It started off with some trouble in paradise… as usual… for Sven and Gabrielle.
Sven thinks our girl Gabi parties too hard and Gabi thinks that it isn’t really a problem.
Ultimately they settled to compromise because they care about one another… and then they moved on to their next fight.
Then we learned that Andriy and Soulayma were living in two different dimensions

We also saw the Islanders get handcuffed for 2 hours just to get to know one another.
A true challenge… especially for Gabrielle.

We also had the chance to vote for our favourite couple and these were (in no particular order) Sven and Gabrielle, Chelsea and Allen, and Marie Christine and Kyle.
Yep, no Dale and Nicola.
This voting put the least favourite couples, Dale and Nicola, Soulayma and Andriy, and Nate and Shanise at risk of getting dumped.
But not like you think.

The Islanders had to choose who they wanted to dump.
The girls voted off our beloved barber/therapist Nate and he took it like a champ!
And the boys surprisingly voted off Soulayma because they knew she was strong enough for it.

A lot of tears were shed.

Timmy is a footballer who likes Mediterranean women… so that is why he dived in head first to get to know Chelsea and Gabrielle.
Let’s be honest, we had higher expectations for Timmy, he didn’t cause much drama in the villa.
He did cause another fight for Gabrielle and Sven though!
Love Island Malta gave Timmy the chance to go on three breakfast dates.
He chose Chelsea, Gabrielle and Shanise.
Timmy really clicked with Gabrielle, and Sven wasn’t enjoying it one bit.
Then the Islanders celebrated Timmy’s entrance with a White Party and a game of Twister.

To sum it up: it was chaotic.
At that point I’m fairly sure everyone had kissed everyone.
The episode ended with a furious Sven after seeing Gabrielle chat with Timmy.

In the next episode Gabrielle reassures Sven that Timmy and her aren’t compatible and he is more like a friend to her.
So, Timmy had to look elsewhere to form a connection but he seemed to hold himself back.
Can’t be easy joining the Villa on week 3.
This week we also celebrated two birthdays, Kyle’s and Gabrielle’s and it was pretty sweet.

Marie Christine prepared a cake and some donuts for Kyle and Sven got Gabrielle a bouquet with a cute note.

We also saw the famous Kissing Challenge that changed everything!
Chelsea didn’t really enjoy it unlike Nicola who put her entire soul into it.

The boys were blindfolded and they had to rate the kiss and guess who kissed them… and Sven confused the girl he had been with since day 1 with Nicola.

Undoubtedly Nicola won the challenge and unsurprisingly Dale was blowing steam out of his ears.

Dale is a complex being but let’s not get into that.
Instead here is the powerful moment Nicola finally put Dale in his place and decided to pursue what her heart truly wants.

Nicola also had the opportunity to go on a date with her favourite kiss and from that moment on the entire Maltese population started rooting for Nicola and Andriy.

No one saw this coming but the two clicked, they made one another happy and Nicola started to realise that she should have tried to get to know everyone before closing off for Dale.
Andriy and Nicola admitted on their date that they actually liked one another from the start but didn’t pursue it because of Dale.

The date went on so well, that the girls did their best to make sure the two had some more alone time even after the date was over.

Meanwhile Dale was getting a reality check from the rest of the Villa that the only reason he didn’t get dumped from the Villa instead of Nate was because they respected Nicola… ouch.
This left us all questioning who would Nicola choose at the recoupling.
During the recoupling Timmy had the chance to choose first as the bombshell.
He played it safe and picked Shanise.

Then we saw the rest of the girls choose.
Chelsea picked Allen, Gabrielle picked Sven, Marie picked Kyle, and Nicola picked…..

Dale needed some time to cool off and eventually decided that he will try and fight for Nicola.

And yesterday, we saw another spicy challenge that might change everything.
The Islanders uncovered some secrets and it was a blast until Allen’s secret was revealed.
Chelsea didn’t really appreciate Allen’s secret.
Allen had admitted that he had kissed Sabrina in the beginning and while he swears it meant nothing Chelsea feels that she was lied to.

This left us wondering what will happen between the two.
Will Chelsea forgive Allen ? or is this the end for them?
Whatever happens we’re sure Shanise will try to sneak her way into Allen’s life.
