JCI Malta has announced its upcoming event, the Mental Health Awareness Expo.
JCI Malta is an international organisation committed to fostering entrepreneurial spirit in youth,
The Mental Health Awareness Expo is scheduled to take place on Saturday, 7 October 2023, at The Notch Conference Centre within the Urban Valley Resort & Spa in San Gwann.
During a week-long event from 2 to 6 October, JCI Malta will host several initiatives related to mental wellness ranging from a yoga course by Claire Yoga Malta to insightful talks.
The 7th of October will feature an art exhibition showcasing the works of local artist Claire Farrugia.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to engage with a multitude of talks addressing various facets of mental health.
They can explore an expansive expo that spotlights the diverse support systems available for mental well-being in Malta, as well as the opportunity to unwind at the Chat Bar provided by Willingness.
A remarkable finding suggests that individuals in Malta are less likely to report suffering from depression in comparison to the European average.
JCI Malta intends to leverage the Mental Health Awareness Expo as a pivotal platform not only to elevate awareness regarding mental health but also to foster accessible dialogues and mutual understanding.
Join us on this significant day to contribute to the cause, challenge misconceptions, and work towards a more empathetic and informed society regarding mental health issues.
