The 360 Sports Malta Premier Closing Round first phase is set for an exciting finale as the race for a Top Six berth is set to be decided on the final MatchDay, scheduled for the end of the month, in Gozo.
Results from MatchDay 10 has left six teams fighting for four places, with Hibernians, Marsaxlokk, Mosta, Sliema Wanderers, Żabbar St Patrick and Ħamrun Spartans needing a win on the final day to secure their place.

Birkirkara were the biggest victors in the midweek programme as Stefan De Angelis’ men stunned Floriana with a two-goal burst midway through the first half and secure a 2-0 win.
Maxuell Maia put Birkirkara ahead when he ably converted a fast transition before Alex Satariano added minutes later to lift the Stripes to the top of the standings.
Mosta FC (2 – 0) Melita FC
Mosta scored two second-half goals to overcome to see off Melita 2-0.
Nathan Agius put the Blues ahead on 52 minutes before Goncalo Goncalves added a second goal nine minutes from time.
Ħamrun Spartans FC (0 – 1) Sliema Wanderers FC
Sliema Wanderers scored a crucial victory when they beat Ħamrun Spartans 1-0.
Simon Zibo grabbed the all-important goal on 23 minutes to lift the Wanderers to to sixth place while Ħamrun Spartans slipped to seventh place after suffering their third successive defeat.
Żabbar St. Patrick FC (3 – 0) Gżira United FC
Żabbar St Patrick kept alive their hopes of a Top Six berth when they brushed aside Gżira United 3-0.
Kristjan Keqi fired Żabbar ahead inside the first minute before goals from Oliveira Souza and Joa Pedroo sealed an impressive win for the Saints.
Naxxar Lions FC (1 – 0) Marsaxlokk FC
Naxxar Lions boosted their hopes of avoiding the drop when they stunned Marsaxlokk 1-0.
Edward Bolanos netted the winner for the Lions who have now moved out of the bottom place in the standings.
Hibernians FC (0 – 0) Balzan FC
Hibernians failed to breach Balzan’s defensive rearguard as the Paolites had to settle for a goalless draw.
Paolites forward Lucas Villela had his team’s best chances but was denied by an in-form Danilo Golovic in the Balzan goal and the woodwork as the stalemate prevailed.
