UNO Malta is officially back — and they’re not wasting time. To kick off the season in style, they’ve just announced their first headliner for 2025: Carlita.
Set to take over UNO on Wednesday, 1st May, this highly anticipated day-to-night event will bring serious energy to the island’s club scene. Doors open at 12PM, so expect non-stop music, dancing, and vibes until late.
But who is Carlita?
For starters, Carlita isn’t your average DJ. In fact, she’s quickly become one of the most in-demand names in electronic music. Known for her genre-bending sound, Carlita fuses deep, hypnotic rhythms with cinematic energy. What truly sets her apart, however, is her background — she’s a classically trained cellist who blends live instruments, modular synths, and field recordings into every set.
As a result, her performances are nothing short of immersive. Her debut album, Sentimental, offers a raw and emotional exploration of sound, proving she’s just as much an artist as she is a DJ.
Over the past few years, she’s made waves at some of the world’s biggest festivals and venues, including Burning Man, Coachella, Tomorrowland, Circoloco, and Hï Ibiza. Moreover, her Cercle performance at Cinecittà Studios in Rome became an instant classic.
