The BOV Volleyball Marathon in aid of Id-Dar tal-Providenza officially starts today at 6:30pm at the MFCC in Ta’ Qali, marking the start of 53 hours of continuous volleyball in support of Id-Dar Tal-Providenza.
The annual fundraising event will see 40 players playing non-stop until 11:00pm on Saturday, with the aim of raising funds for Id-Dar tal-Providenza while bringing together the community for an unforgettable weekend of sport and entertainment.
But the marathon is about much more than volleyball. Throughout the three-day event, visitors can enjoy a packed programme of live entertainment, family-friendly activities, food stalls and special events.
Some of the highlights include:
- Live performances by some of Malta’s biggest local artists on the Main Stage each night.
- The 5K Run, taking place on Saturday at 6:30am.
- A DJ Takeover on Saturday from 12:00pm until 5:00pm, bringing festival vibes to the venue.
- A wide selection of food and entertainment for all ages throughout the event.
