Another thrilling matchweek in the FMA Enemed Futsal League delivered plenty of drama and goals, headlined by the first defeat of league leaders University of Malta Futsal, who fell 5–3 to Luxol St. Andrews Futsal in a fiercely contested encounter.

GŻR Birżebbuġa St. Peter’s Futsal produced one of their best performances of the season with a resounding 9–2 win over Futsal Selection U17. The match was effectively decided by half-time, as Birżebbuġa raced into a commanding 7–0 lead.

In another key result, Futsal Selection U19 claimed a crucial 5–1 victory against Sliema Futsal Fort Fitness. The three points lift the U19 side to six in total, moving them above Sliema in the current standings.
A commanding display also came from Żejtun Corinthians Futsal WA, who cruised past Santa Venera Lightnings Futsal with an emphatic 12–2 triumph. Abuaisha Nezar Fawzi was the standout performer, scoring an impressive six goals to help Żejtun consolidate their place inside the top five.

The most anticipated clash of the round saw Luxol St. Andrews Futsal end University of Malta’s unbeaten streak in an end-to-end battle. University of Malta opened the scoring through Elmari Mohamed Abdussalam, but Negreiros Rosas Murad Luiz Henrique quickly equalised for Luxol. Cruz Gutiérrez Roller Santiago restored the champions’ advantage, and Raducu Emil Andrei made it 3–1. Luxol responded before the break through Sant’Anna Coriolano Leanderson, cutting the deficit to 3–2.
Luxol emerged stronger in the second half, with Da Silva Gaiewski Maicon levelling the scores before Sant’Anna struck again to put them ahead for the first time. In the closing seconds, Maicon sealed the victory with a calm finish into an empty net as the University side pushed for an equaliser.

Following this round of matches, University of Malta Futsal remain top with 18 points from seven games, closely followed by Luxol St. Andrews Futsal on 15 points from five matches. GŻR Birżebbuġa St. Peter’s Futsal and Marsaskala Futsal Legends are level on 15 points from seven games, while Żejtun Corinthians Futsal WA sit fifth on 12 points. Futsal Selection U19 follow with six points, Sliema Futsal Fort Fitness and Santa Venera Lightnings Futsal share four points apiece, and Futsal Selection U17 remain without a point.
