Malta will celebrate the European Week of Sport with three free events at the Kirkop Sports Complex on Saturday, 26 September 2026.
The evening begins with the Sport Village opening at 5pm, giving visitors the opportunity to try a variety of physical activities with family and friends. From 7pm until 11pm, the celebrations will continue with #BeActive Night, combining sport with live entertainment and performances.
Those looking for a challenge can take part in the Hybrid Sprint. Participants will team up to complete eight workout stations and eight runs, working together towards one shared goal. Participation is free, but registration is required by Wednesday, 23 September.
A separate Hybrid Sprint Kids event will also take place, offering younger participants an age-appropriate challenge featuring seven stations and eight runs. The activity encourages children to get moving, work as a team and experience sport in a fun and supportive environment. Registration is also free and closes on 23 September.
All three events form part of the European Week of Sport, an initiative encouraging people of every age and fitness level to become more active.
The Sport Village and #BeActive Night are open to everyone, while advance registration is required for both sprint events.
