Malta Gets Loud in Europe’s Social Enterprise Scene 🎯
Social entrepreneurship isn’t just a buzzword—it’s becoming one of the strongest forces shaping Europe’s economy. Generating billions and creating millions of jobs, this movement is all about combining business skills with big-hearted impact.One standout project making serious waves? EMIMSEB—short for Euro-Mediterranean Impact Makers: Social Enterprise Bootcamp—funded by Erasmus+ and powered by collaboration between five Mediterranean countries, including our very own JA Malta. 🇲🇹
What’s EMIMSEB All About?
Over the past year, JA Malta teamed up with organisations from Italy, Spain, Greece, and France to level up social entrepreneurship skills across the Euro-Med region.
The goal? Create change-makers who tackle real-world challenges—from sustainability and inclusion to digital innovation—using the power of business.

From 18 to 21 February 2025, 40 young changemakers gathered at Isola Catania in Italy for an intensive, hands-on bootcamp.

🌍 SEOC Catania 2024: The Biggest Stage for Impact
Before the bootcamp, EMIMSEB participants also took part in Social Enterprise Open Camp (SEOC)—Italy’s top social entrepreneurship event.
With 400+ global participants, networking sessions, and expert panels, this event helped strengthen the vision for a more sustainable and socially responsible future.
