CAP-Sounds releases Maltese Hits Vol. III celebrating Malta’s award winning music
CAP-Sounds has unveiled Maltese Hits Vol. III, the latest edition of its digital compilation series dedicated to promoting original Maltese music.
Following the success of Maltese Hits and Maltese Hits Vol. II, the new collection brings together 22 tracks that showcase the diversity and quality of Malta’s contemporary music scene. The compilation features songs that have gained recognition through local music festivals, song contests and digital streaming platforms.
Among the highlights are Laura Bruno’s Għażiża, winner of L-Għanja tal-Poplu 2024, Rita Pace’s Narakom L-Infern, which won L-Għanja tal-Poplu 2025, and Martina Fenech’s Ħajjitna, the winning entry of the Konkors Kanzunetta Indipendenza 2025.
The album also includes previous Mużika Mużika winners: Maxine’s Mhux tal-Aħħar (2024), Gianluca Bezzina’s Sabiħa(2023) and Jamie Cardona’s Stajna Konna Aħna (2025).
Other featured tracks include Cherylis’ Inħobbok Wisq, recipient of the Enzo Gusman Award for Best Interpretation at L-Għanja tal-Poplu 2025; Brooke’s Tiegħek Jien, runner-up at Mużika Mużika 2025; Ishmael Grech’s Tfajjel Ruxxan, which placed second in the Konkors Kanzunetta Indipendenza 2024; Jekk Forsi by Mark Spiteri Lucas and Debbie Scerri, a finalist at this year’s Mużika Mużika; and a reworked version of Sal-Aħħar Nifs by Fabrizio and Claudia Faniello together with Owen Leuellen, originally the winning song of the Festival tal-Kanzunetta Maltija in 1999.
CAP-Sounds said the third edition aims to further strengthen the presence of Maltese-language music on digital platforms while introducing local artists to audiences both in Malta and abroad.
Maltese Hits Vol. III is now available to stream on Spotify and can also be purchased through Apple Music and Amazon Music.
