Marsaxlokk FC (2 – 1) Gżira United FC
Marsaxlokk kept up the pressure when they overcame Gżira United 2-1.
Dodo Soares was the protagonist for the Southerners when netting both goals after the break.
Gżira United had temporarily levelled matters through their prolific forward Maxuell Maia.
Ħamrun Spartans FC (3 – 0) Naxxar Lions FC
Ħamrun Spartans ended a depressing run of three successive defeats when they brushed aside Naxxar Lions 3-0.
Damir Ceter put the Spartans ahead, before an own goal by Gustavo Campos made it 2-0.
Joseph Mbong wrapped up the points with a third goal from the penalty spot.
Tarxien Rainbows FC (3 – 3) Żabbar St. Patrick FC
In the Bottom 6, Żabbar St Patrick and Tarxien Rainbows played out a six-goal thriller in a 3-3 draw.
Mario Fontanella grabbed a brace for Żabbar with the other goal coming from Zean Leonardi.
For Tarxien, Marko Musulin was again on the mark before second-half goals from Patrick Schmidt and Nhayson earned them a point.
Mosta FC (2 – 2) Sliema Wanderers FC
Mosta threw away a two-goal lead against Sliema Wanderers as they had to settle with a 2-2 draw.
Giancarlo Goncalves and Prince Emmanuel put Mosta two goals ahead but the Wanderers saved a point with late goals from Luke Montebello and Vito Plut.
Hibernians FC (0 – 0) Birkirkara FC
The other fixtures saw Hibernians and Birkirkara take a point each in a goalless draw.
